*giggle* Do I BELIEVE in it? Sure, it exists...
Do I practice it? Hells no; can you imagine me being fully monogamous? Pfft...
I am FAR too greedy a person, I want IT ALL!!!!!
Seriously; I have chosen to be monogamous when in a steady relationship, but as time went on and I realized wait I'm NOT actually mono, it started wearing on me; like I was hiding part of myself.
Since acknowledging/embracing who I am (a bisexual Poly woman), my relationship w/ my chosen mate (and mind you other than a few extracurricular activities over the years I have not been w/ anyone BUT him) has actually gotten better; our communication is such that he was surprised at first, then prettymuch shrugged and figured it explained a lot of things LOL!!
Granted, we've still got things to work out, and the love of our life lives on the other side of the country (someday, damnit... someday), but I keep hoping hubby will find a woman he connects with who's OK with sharing :)
So far, no luck though :( |

Day 2 the <a href="http://usana.com/reset" target="_blank">Usana 5-day Reset</a>
Waist: 34 3/4" (no change )
Breakfast: chocolate shake Mid-morning snack: oatmeal raisin bar Lunch: chocolate shake Afternoon snack: peanut butter bar Fruit serving: Nothing :( Veggie serving: small serving of onions/garlic/tomatoes/cabbage (yeah I took all the veggies I had in my fridge and kinda stewed them up) Dinner: Vanilla shake (which was ok but'll be better with fruit in it)
Vitamins: Healthpak 100, Proflavinol 90
You're supposed to walk like 3k steps or somesuch but TBH clearing my walkway (and wrenching my shoulder in the process) exerted MORE than enough I think. Couldn't get to the store, because of all the snow/ice and the damned plow barricaded my car in feh
Schools are closed tomorrow so hopefully things will melt enough I can get over there. Not as hungry as I was yesterday, but making blueberry pancakes/bacon, tomatoe soup/grilled cheese sammiches was a bit sucky :( |

| [ | mood |
| | hungry | ] | So today I started the Usana 5-day Reset
So we shall see how it goes. As I dont' own a bloody scale, we'll go by waist measurements, as that's where I need to lose the most (my babybelly and such)
Waist: 34 3/4" (Oh, how I miss my 24" waist)
Breakfast: chocolate shake Mid-morning snack: oatmeal raisin bar Lunch: chocolate shake Afternoon snack: peanut butter bar Fruit serving: a fruit bar (100% fruit, no sugar, etc, I haven't gone shopping yet so it's all I have bah) Veggie serving: 1/2 serving size of edemame Dinner: chocolate shake
Vitamins: Healthpak 100, Proflavinol 90
I am waiting for my Lemon Fibergy and Chocolate nutreo bars to arrive... slow ass mail service... Also yes, all chocolate shakes, I bought extra Dutch Chocolate Nutrimeal till I went shopping LOL I bought a blender so I'll likely toss fruit into my shakes in the morning and get that out of the way.
Notes: I AM HUNGRY HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!!!!!! ok in all seriousness, I'm not as hungry as I thought I would be, and part of it's likely the fact I make spaggetti and meatballs for the cubs for dinner (and put the remainder in a tuppeware into the fridge for hubby when he gets home, I had NONE!) I have drunk a lot of water, but then again, I drank a crapton before this. No nasty side effects (I've read some folks end up getting a laxitive effect and that would suck mightily) but then I'm only on day 1.
BUT I survivied, and looked it up and artichokes and edemame (2 of my faves) are low glycemic, so I'll integrate those back into my diet after 5 days (I probably wasn't supposed to have the edemame but again, no store.)
Wrote up my full grocery list for the week, indlucing a lot of stuff the cubs can make themselves so I don't have to torture myself ;) |
